PRAYER: With Prayer, we harmonize the mind’s quest for knowledge by learning with the heart longing for union with the Divine by character.
AWARENESS: We are diligent in study, to be aware of the true nature of things (knowledge); to excel in both secular and sacreed subjects; not for fulfillment of mere social goals, but to be at the service of the truth in our endaevors.
COMMUNITY: With varying and diverse gifts, capacities and potentials, we are not in a mindless competition of supermacy and dominance. Love of truth, devotion to study and prayer dispose us for a common life for the sake of the common good.
TRUTH: We are firm, focused and friendly in seeking the truth in all things with honesty and sincerity. For us, truth is not a mere abstraction in the alignment (correspondence) of ideas or notions with reality. The truth we seek attains ultimate essence in the person of Jesus, who said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). Thgus, Truth is not merely a thing; it is a Person.
